The KWSC Board of Directors is pleased to announce the following:
         
Paul MacIntosh has accepted the Skating Programs Manager role and will assume this role effective April 1, 2010.  Paul comes to us with a post secondary education in Recreation, extensive skating expertise, coaching expertise, a thorough knowledge of KWSC and our programs, as well as, a high level of negotiation, leadership, customer relations and problem resolution skills.  We all know Paul well, but please take a few minutes to congratulate him on his success!

Marie Pringle has accepted the Executive Director role at the KWSC and will begin in this role effective April 1, 2010.  Marie has over 20 years' experience in management roles in sports administration, arts programming and business services.  She has previous executive director experience in the not-for-profit sector and senior leadership experience in private sector businesses.  This is complimented by university degrees in Business and Recreation as well as professional certifications.  She and her husband Pat are both Laurier grads and they have recently returned to the KW area with their family.  She is a former Canadian athlete, a level 2 coach and the current Commissioner of the provincial women’s box lacrosse council.  Marie brings passion, business acumen and solid organizational skills to this newly created role.  Please take a moment to welcome Marie to KWSC!
