Dear KWSC Skaters and Families,
These are strange and unusual COVID times. As many of you have already heard, starting on Monday, November 23rd, the Waterloo Region will be in the Red Level of the COVID-19 Framework.
As such, KWSC will continue to keep all of our skaters and families safe on the ice by following the new provincial guidelines from Public Health. This will require some changes to our schedule of program offerings.
On November 17th, we released our Red Level Safety Plan that outlines the details of how we will respond to the new framework. KWSC already meets almost all of the requirements of the Red Level. The biggest change will be a reduced capacity in programs.
For a full list of how KWSC will continue to take precautions, please review our Red Level Safety Plan.
This may impact your scheduled skating session. Therefore, starting tomorrow, Saturday, November 21st, KWSC will be contacting each skater and family via email to explain how the changes will affect them. We would appreciate your patience as we reschedule our rinks within these new capacity restrictions. We will be in touch with you as soon as possible over the next few days
Please ensure that your account with us has the most recent contact email and phone number. As well, please check that you receive member information by logging into your account selecting my account and then communication preferences and check box member information messages. Please also ensure emails are not landing in your Junk Mail.
We will continue to do all we can to keep our skaters (and their families) safe, and on the ice, and we appreciate your continued support during this time.
