COVID-19 Update - April 01, 2021

Dear Skating Families,

As many of you have already heard, as of midnight on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, the province will begin a 28-day province-wide shutdown in an attempt to disrupt the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.  As part of this shut-down, the province requires the “closure of all indoor and outdoor sports and recreational fitness facilities”.  Therefore, RIM Park will be closed, and our last day of programming will be today, Thursday, April 1st, 2021.

As a result of the closures, the KWSC office, all KWSC skating programs and the Athletic Centre will be closed until further notice.

Thank you for continuing to stick by us, we will keep you posted on our re-opening plans. Please stay in touch with our rink community by following our social media channels and checking our website where we will be posting updates.

Have a Happy Easter and Passover and stay safe.

Debra Brown
Executive Director
Kitchener Waterloo Skating Club
