Meet Carolyn Allwright...

Carolyn Allwright photoWhat is your skating/teaching philosophy:
After 29 years of coaching I still have a passion for this sport and it is important to me to pass on this enthusiasm to my athletes and all those involved in our sport.

Tell us about your skating career:
Primarily a singles provincial skater at The Upper Canada Skating Club in Toronto, I also competed in synchronized skating. I continued my skating and began coaching in Germany and England.

What are some of your other professional accomplishments?
I am a nationally trained Master Learning Facilitator and a Club Service Delivery Consultant for Skate Canada Western Ontario. I am also a Team Leader for Skate Canada on the International circuit. My assignments have included numerous Jr. and Sr. Grand Prix events as well as Jr. Worlds and Four Continent Championships. I recently contributed to the LTAD committee. I also volunteer within the Western Ontario Section and Skate Canada to help promote this wonderful sport.

What are your coaching credentials?
I am a Level 3 certified professional coach.

Are you currently taking new students and if so at what level?
Yes, I welcome all enquiries for new students. I coach recreational, STAR and competitive singles.

When you are not at the rink what are you doing?
Caring for horses, fitness and travel.
