| LATEST NEWS: On Saturday March 12th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm, the public is invited to attend a club send-off for KWSC world team members as they head off to the World Figure Skating Championships in Tokyo, Japan. The event will be held at the Carolyn Fedy Skating Rink in RIM Park at 2001 University Avenue in Waterloo. They will be skating in one of their final practice sessions before they leave. The practice will be followed by an autograph session and a chance to meet KWSC world competitors in person. Come out to support these hard working local athletes as they prepare to represent Canada at the 2011 World Championships. Admission is free but you are encouraged to pick up advanced tickets in the KWSC office during posted office hours (Tues & Thurs 12 noon to 7 pm and Sat 9:30 to 3:30 pm). Tickets will be available at the door as capacity permits. |
